A friendly corner of the high street
We sit on the corner of the high street in Galashiels, a short walk from the Great Tapestry of Scotland. Folk have been coming to us since we opened, and plenty come back week after week for the same warm welcome and a plate of something homemade.
Breakfast, brunch and lunch are what we do best. The leek and tattie soup gets a mention most days, and our cold filled rolls, cheese toasties and ploughman's keep the regulars happy. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or settling in for a proper lunch, you'll find friendly, attentive staff and food made with care.
We're wheelchair accessible and glad to look after everyone who comes through the door.

We do. Breakfast, brunch and lunch are all served through the day, so come in whenever suits you.

Yes. You're welcome to eat in or take your rolls, soup and hot drinks away with you.

Yes, we have a wheelchair accessible entrance and are happy to help make your visit comfortable.
Do I need to book a table?
No need to book, just pop in. If you're bringing a larger group, give us a ring on 01896 807919 and we'll do our best to look after you.
